Conley's Prayer Garden
A peaceful path for all people to enjoy
The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins;
he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord.
Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
Isaiah 51:3
We are embarking on a faith journey to create a natural destination that is open to our neighbors.
We will tap into God’s vision and His call to care for creation, plants, animals, and ourselves.
Over the next 5 years we will be steadily laying the foundations, planting and tending the area behind our worship center on 33106 Jolyns Way, Lewes, Delaware so that it becomes a source of sustenance for the butterflies and bees, and a place of celebration and worship for people of faith, and an oasis peace for all amidst the surrounding chaos of the world.
Please pray with us that this garden sparks joy and wonder in the beauty of creation.
Our plan is for this to be a Sustainable Garden featuring a nature trail, fire pit,
picnic spots, prayer pavilion, children’s corner, outdoor chapel, and walking trails including a memorial pathway from grief to healing.
We have already installed a labyrinth and the start of a walking trail. The prayer pavillion--a shelter that was once on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk--has been restored and moved into place, and flowers and trees have been planted.
