Who is the owner/governing body of Conley's Preschool?

Conley’s Preschool is owned and operated by Conley’s United Methodist Church.  Conley's Church Council is the governing body and the staff is overseen by Conley's Staff Parish Relations Committee.  The Preschool Administrator is Mary Bradford.  Ms. Bradford is certified by the state of Delaware as an Early Childhood Teacher and Administrator.  She holds a B.Ed. in Elementary Education, an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Reading Specialist degree, all from Penn State University.  

Are there regulations and oversight of the preschool's operation?

Conley's Preschool is fully licensed by the state of Delaware and oversight is conducted by the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL).  Conley's Preschool strictly follows all DELACARE regulations for early care, education, and school-age centers.  We also adhere to the Safe Sanctuaries Policy of Conley's Church which is overseen by the church's Staff Parish Relations Committee.

What curriculum does Conley's Preschool use?

Conley’s Preschool uses the award-winning Teaching Strategies GOLD (https://teachingstrategies.com) which includes strong academics to ensure that children are well-prepared for kindergarten and have a strong start toward growing into healthy and productive members of society.  In addition, in order to provide a firm faith foundation, we use My Father’s World (www.mfwbooks.com), an internationally-recognized homeschool program which fosters a worldview recognizing God as our creator, Jesus as our savior and friend, and Holy Spirit as our guardian and guide.
